40 Hour Course
Full Description
Today's airport firefighter must be knowledgeable in many facets of aircraft rescue and firefighting. In addition to basic firefighting knowledge, skills, and experience, airport firefighters must learn to use specialized techniques, tools, and equipment in order to mitigate airport emergencies. This course provides the information and specific skills firefighters need to effectively perform the various tasks involved in aircraft rescue and firefighting. If the student successfully passes written examinations and is proficient with skills included in the course, they will be eligible to test for certification as Airport Firefighter.

Signup Details
Students must be FF II Certified.
Student must provide full name, SS # and Driver's License # including what state the DL was issued TWO (2) weeks prior to the class so a post pass can be obtained.
Each vehicle entering the base must provide a valid vehicle registration and valid proof of insurance for the vehicle being driven. Each passenger in the vehicle must provide a valid driver's license.
Once all items are received, a background check will be conducted at the entrance gate. If there are any discrepancies during the background check, attendees will be denied entrance onto base.
